Staff, Parents, and Friends
Saturday evening, our beloved Rosie Woodrick returned home from a meeting, only to find her expired mother on the floor. Rosie wishes everyone to know that she is fine,happy in the knowledge she was able to avoid a nursing home option for her mother in favor of Rosie personally taking care of her mother for these past seven years. Rosie spoke about her mother's sound mind and ability to perform cooking tasks and light chores of her mother's own desire. When Rosie left earlier in the day Saturday, her mother was in good cheer and preparing to begin her home routine. When Rosie returned, her mother looked to be asleep on the floor without any signs of distress. For those whom knew Rosie's sweet ninety-two year old mother, we will especially miss her beautiful, quick mind and her fantastic culinary talents. Selfishly, I will especially miss her chicken and turkey salad creations. Rosie told me she will keep busy working; thereby, avoiding depression. Rosie is uplifted by a host of fond remembrances, as well as
her own children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and belief in God's healing graces. Together as a faculty and as friends, we will pray for Rosie's peace of mind, as she has "most assuredly" prayed for ours, "countless of times."
